Olive J. Weaver, 87, of South Yarmouth, died peacefully in Harwich, MA, on Friday, December 20, 2024.

Born on July 30, 1937, in Drogheda, Ireland, to Maryjane and Edward Rock, Olive immigrated to the US in 1955. She worked in the hospitality industry while raising her three children in Albany, New York, and later served as a site manager for Elder Services in Brewster, MA, after moving to Cape Cod in 1994. Olive was a gifted knitter, and she enjoyed reading and traveling in her spare time.

She is survived by her loving husband of 69 years, Frederick C. Weaver; her children, Linda (Narender) Bhatia of Long Beach, CA, Robert (Lisa) Weaver of Slingerlands, NY, and Kathleen (Jeff) Moulton of Eagan, MN; seven grandchildren, and twelve great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and her twelve siblings.

A private memorial service will be held in the spring.
